In 2010 founded united by — formerly known as MIGUEL PALMEIRO DESIGNER — after having formed and headed the multidisciplinary Communication Design Department of ALERT Life Sciences Computing (2004-2010), where he was awarded the National Prize for Design 2009 (Portuguese Design Centre) for "Management and communication of ALERT's Brand “.
Before that, he was Head of the Communication Department at José Jacinto Magalhães Foundation / University of Aveiro (2006), collaborated at Francisco M. Providência Designer Ltd. (1992-2004) and, in the context of his degree in architecture (University of Porto, 1995), interned with the Architects Alexandre Alves Costa and Sergio Fernandez (1994).
Since 2005, he has been an Assistant Professor at the University of Aveiro, where he teaches Strategic Design and Design Project.
