Mesa Comum

Mesa Comum is a project by Mira Galerias that celebrates the 21 nationalities represented in the parish of Campanhã (Porto, Portugal) through gastronomy. Flavors, recipes, and cooking traditions become an invitation to gather around a common table, sharing experiences and cultures — making each encounter richer and more diverse.
To highlight this multicultural identity, the visual design presents the words “Mesa Comum” written in the different languages spoken in Campanhã. The color palette is vibrant and varied, symbolizing diversity, dynamism, and vitality.
The graphic expression embraces a language of strength and impact, evoking both the rusticity of cooking and the authentic spirit of the festival. Communication takes place mainly in public spaces, through stickers, pasted posters, and temporary interventions, reinforcing the project’s accessibility and collective character.
