Kepler is a nonprofit university program designed for the developing world, combining the best of online learning with in-person seminars and intensive education-to-employment. Kepler's pilot campus opens in Rwanda this fall, and the main goal is to create a global network of universities that deliver the skills that emerging economies need for a price that all talented students can afford. To develop the Kepler's logo two main concepts were used: The Book, a medium to receive, store and transmit information. An irrefutable symbol for knowledge; The Bird, one of the first effective means of long distance communication, an archaic form of internet. A symbol for bridging boundaries, overcome obstacles and reach higher objectives.
