The festival was inspired by the cosmopolitan spirit of the 4th Count of Ourém, Dom Afonso. It traces the history of portuguese emigration from Ourém to France, the United Kingdom, Brazil, Angola, and Mozambique, along with all other destinations in the world, highlighting the relationship between heritage and interculturality. Guided by these intersections, the visual image is drawn upon lines that reflect identity representations constructed from migratory trajectories.
