about
menos é mais is an architecture office based in Porto, Portugal. It was founded by Francisco Vieira de Campos and Cristina Guedes. Over the years they were shortlisted for the RIBA International, a Mies Van der Rohe Prize, won a FAD Prize and a BIAU Prize, They also are International RIBA Fellows. menos é mais translates to less is more, the famous phrase adopted by architect Ludwig Mies Van der Rohe. This ethos is the main driving force behind the entire brand development, and should remain so. The logo consists on the most essencial visual representation of menos é mais: a plus sign built from two minuses. The logo remains the same whether over dark or light backgrounds, revealing on each contexts different structural elements.
